Hello, I’m Destinae Waddington, Elite Certified Christian Doula, and owner of Blessed Occurrence Doula Services. I’m also a rancher’s wife and homeschooling mother of 9, ages 25-2, a super proud granny to 1 sweet baby girl, and a midwifery student to be. I am bringing these years of experience and training in hospital birth settings, home birth, and free birth to my trainings and support to ensure you have the dream birth you desire.
Get To Know Your Doula
My heart to become a doula and support moms started early in my own motherhood when I was starting a MOPs group in my local church, with four young babies of my own. God has always put mothers on my heart, I’ve wanted to encourage mamas since my first child was born when I was just 18. It’s taken quite a few years but the doula dream finally became a reality in the spring of 2021. Since then I have had the privilege of supporting and encouraging many mamas and their families in hospital and home birth settings, as well as virtual counsel. I have a deep desire to help mamas find their voice, know their bodies, and trust God’s design for birth.
I am a firm believer in caring for your body naturally long before the labor progress begins. As an athlete needs to train before a marathon, so does your body in preparing for birth. Through natural health, holistic supplements, herbs, tinctures, and movement I believe you can have a body conditioned and ready for the work of pregnancy, birth, and beyond. I can help create a plan specific to you and your baby’s needs for an optimal prenatal through postpartum experience. It is my absolute love and pleasure to serve you in this most Blessed Occurrence.
